Opening up a world of stitching knowledge and know how.
In the current climate of worry and trying to keep yourself and your loved ones safe as well as sane I think that stitching of any kind, keeping your hands as well as your brain usefully occupied for even a short space of time, is hugely beneficial. In order to help anyone who would like to get started or overcome some stitching problem they may be experiencing feel free to get in touch with me and I will try to help you make progress in whatever you are doing. For free until further notice. Happy stitching.

My name is Alex Pocknell and I have a love of all things fabric and thread related. I really enjoy passing on all the knowledge I have gained over the years both formally and self taught. I teach in a friendly and relaxed style allowing you to work on you chosen project and at your own pace.

I teach all aspects of dressmaking and sewing, knitting, crochet and tatting to groups and individuals. I currently teach in Ash, Camberley, Yateley, Woking, Farley Hill, Farnham, Guildford, Mayford, Beech Hill, Esher Green and Sunbury but I'm happy to travel.
